WWE Star Nikki Bella Reveals Her Ex-John Cena Reached Out To Her After She Gave Birth To Son Matteo

WWE star John Cena and Nikki Bella were once sweethearts, however, things between the two didn't go as planned and called it quits after dating for almost six years. After all these years, as the two have also moved on in their respective lives, Nikki feels that they 'will be tied forever.' Nikki Bella and her partner Artem Chigvintsev are on a new journey of parenthood after they welcomed their son Matteo whereas John Cena and Shay Shariatzadeh are also set for new beginnings as they got hitched in October. In a conversation with Us Weekly, the wrestler spoke how happy she is for John. She also revealed that after she gave birth to her son, Matteo, John reached out to her and they had a 'very short and sweet' conversation.
"John and I will be tied forever. I get that, like, we had a public relationship on a reality show for six years," Nikki said of John to the portal. "All I've ever wanted was for him to be happy. So, it makes me happy when I see that and, like, him kicking butt in the movie world and all that stuff. I love that! So, with the baby, he reached out to Brie and I both," she continued. "We haven't had an individual conversation in gosh, I don't know how long, but it was very short and sweet!"
Meanwhile, Nikki and Artem became parents to Matteo on July 31. Announcing the arrival of a baby boy on Instagram, she shared a picture of the hand of the baby and backed it with, "7/31/2020 Our baby boy is here and we couldn’t be HAPPIER and more in LOVE! Everyone is safe and healthy."
On the other hand, John and Shay got married to each other in a private ceremony that saw some of his friends, family and WWE talents in attendance.
