X Factor 2018 Contestant Danny Tetley Pleads Guilty Over Sexual Exploitation Of Underage Boys; Details Inside
Danny Tetley, who rose to fame with his stint as a semi-finalist in the popular singing reality show X-Factor of 2018, has admitted to sexually exploiting teenage boys. The 29-year-old has formally applied for a guilty plea at the Bradford Crown Court over several charges of sexually harassing a child. He has been accused of offering money to 5 boys, who belong to the age groups of 15 and 16, in exchange for their explicit images. Reportedly, the singer sent those messages in between October 2018 to August 2019.

During a previous hearing, Danny Tetley had pleaded guilty to four charges that included cases of sexually exploiting boys aged 14. As per a report in metro.co.uk, prosecutor Michael Smith stated that the court would not seek to try him on the other allegations that Tetley has declined to commit. He said, "The investigation is complete and the victims have been identified." Danny Tetley has pleaded not guilty to making indecent images of children. In fact, his lawyer – Andrew Dallas – requested for his sentenced to get postponed so that the defence has enough time to go through “well over 10,000" text and WhatsApp messages”.

Reports added that as per the Crown Prosecution Service, some explicit images belonged to the most serious Category A, which would display “‘images involving penetrative sexual activity, sexual activity with an animal or sadism”. The Category B pictures showed non-penetrative sexual activity, while the Category C images come under the indecent images that don’t belong to the earlier categories. In the past, Tetley had denied all the accusations and is now expected to be sentenced on January 24, 2020.
