Renowned YouTuber Devraj Patel, who rose to fame with his 'Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai Bhai' meme, has left for his heavenly abode. He passed away at the age of 22, after getting into a road accident in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. According to the reports doing rounds, he and his friend were on their way to shoot a video, when their bike was hit by a truck in the Labhandih area.

Hindustan Times quoted Civil Lines CSP Manoj Dhruv, shedding light on the incident. As per the media publication, Patel suffered severe injuries on his head and other body parts. He breathed his last after he was hit by a truck, while his friend sustained injuries. The report further added that the truck driver has been detained.


Mourning the loss of the YouTuber, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel took to Twitter. He wrote in Hindi, "Devraj Patel, who made his place among crores of people with “Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai”, who made us all laugh, left us today. The loss of amazing talent at this young age is very sad. May God give strength to his family and loved ones to bear this loss. Om Shanti."
