Dhruv Rathee clarifies about being paid a mammoth amount for making videos on Kangana Ranaut and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s family. The YouTuber reacted to the reports and called them ‘fake news’

YouTuber Dhruv Rathee Clarifies Reports About Being Paid Rs 65 Lakh For Making Videos On Kangana Ranaut And Sushant Singh Rajput’s Family
Famous YouTuber Dhruv Rathee has a huge fan base on the video sharing application and his followers love to watch the videos he shares. With over 4 million subscribers on the video-sharing platform, Rathee has garnered himself a lot of fame. Recently, a tweet made on social media claimed that a ‘major YouTuber’ is being paid a mammoth amount for making videos on Kangana Ranaut and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s family. Now, YouTuber Dhruv Rathee clarified and called it ‘fake news’.

On Twitter, a social media user with the name Eray Cather tweeted, “ATTENTION: A major YouTuber with more than 4m subscribers has just been paid 65 lac Rs to make an analytical video "exposing role of SSR's family in his death". Deadline given to him is 1-2 weeks. The same YouTuber was earlier hired to target Kangana & Arnab.”

He added, "His usual fee is 30-40 lac Rs per video. For Kangana and Arnab he was paid 35 lac Rs for each video. More details awaited." While the social media user did not name any YouTuber or tag anyone in his, YouTuber Dhruv Rathee went on and reacted to the tweet. He responded to the allegations made  by Cather and clarified his stance on the same.  


Dhruv Rathee re-tweeted the tweet and wrote, “Lol, is this bullshit fake news referring to me?” He then clarified that no one paid him to make a video on Kangana and revealed he is not planning to make a video on SSR. He finally said that he wishes his sponsoring fees were Rs 30 Lakh per video and expressed how he can’t imagine how rich he would be. Later, the social media user who posted the news about the video in the first place reacted and mentioned how he hasn’t named anyone. He further stated that in case Dhruv feels it’s him, then he’s welcome. He then added, “Two: About your fees & deals, @dhruv_rathee — I will definitely talk about it, but my focus is not that as of now. So wait for a while. Three: Am glad you dropped the vid, or not planning now. You answered it." Read it all below:



Meanwhile, actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020. He allegedly died by suicide. The late actor was found dead in his Mumbai apartment and the investigation in his case is still going on.
