Smriti Khanna rarely talks about her love life with Gautam Gupta, who is Mandana Karimi's brother-in-law. Mandana, who married Gautam's brother Gaurav in January this year, is currently fighting a Domestic Violence Case against the Gupta family. Yesterday, we ran a big story on one of the asli reasons why Mandana does not want to stay with Guptas anymore, which is the entry of Smriti into their household slated for December this year.
This afternoon, we called up Smriti to know if she ever got negative vibes from Mandana, but the TV star refrained from talking on that. However, she quickly added that Mandana's unpleasant separation from the Gupta family has not changed her decision of marrying Gautam. "My parents and I are sure of what I am going to do. They have no doubts about the Gupta family, not then neither now. I trust Gautam and his family and they are very good with me."

A source close to the Gupta family tells SpotboyE.com, "Mandana hated Smriti. They caught up with each other in family functions. Smriti was quite good to her, but Mandana made it clear to Gaurav that she will not share the same house with Smriti."
Adds the source, "Mandana has beeing shouting hoarse against the Gupta family. But she'll have to prove all that in Court, She will be asked for the proof, and her case will become very weak if she doesn't have it. Besides, we all know from her Bigg Boss days that how moody and difficult Mandana is."

Gautam who himself is a popular TV face after starring in in Ekta Kapoor’s Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi got engaged to his ex co-star Smriti, another well-known face in the small screen, only recently (April 2017). The couple have been dating for quite some time now. And on a recent trip to Goa for Gautam's birthday, Gautam proposed to Smriti.
