A photograph of Aamir Khan wearing a turban went viral recently with reports claiming that it is the superstar’s look from the upcoming film Thugs Of Hindostan.
But we can now tell you that Aamir wore the turban, not to play a daring outlaw but a doting father of two daughters.

Aamir is once again repeating the message from Dangal: Daughters are no lesser than sons.
Dangal was the biggest hit last year, and one of Aamir Khan’s biggest hits till date. The movie managed to strike a chord with the audience because it focussed on a father’s struggle to raise and train his two daughters in wrestling, a bastion reserved for men.
Aamir’s character, which was based on the life of Mahavira Singh Phogat, is mocked and derided until his daughters (Geeta and Babita Phogat) became world champions. And now, Aamir is once again speaking about the subject in the commercial.
Taking the message of Dangal forward, Aamir has taken full advantage of his new look and done an advertisement for the channel. Earlier Aamir’s wife Kiran Rao had confessed that she finds his bearded look in the film ‘interesting’ and we can’t help but agree. Playing a father sure suits Aamir Khan!
