Aishwarya Rai To Salman Khan: See You At Theatres On Eid 2018!
Whoa! Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai are all set to lock horns at the box-office in 2018!
Here comes the
news of the BIGGEST CLASH of 2018. Unlike every other time where the Khans
clash at the box-office, this time it is going to be exes Salman Khan and
Aishwarya Rai who will have a face-off.
According to mid-day, Aishwarya’ Fanney Khan and Salman’s Race 3 will release together
on Eid, 2018 (June 15). The clash will be much talked about, not just because
it involves two big stars and films but also because of Aishwarya and Salman’s
history. The duo was dating each other for three long years and ended their
relationship in 2002.
A statement released by the producers of Fanney Khan, KriArj Entertainment (Prerna Arora and Arjun N. Kapoor), confirmed the clash saying, "We have locked the release date of Fanney Khan on Eid 2018 (June 15). We
decided on Eid because the lead character Fanney Khan, played by Anil Kapoor,
is a Muslim character and there's no better day than Eid [to release it]."
However, when asked about clashing with the action franchise, the producers
refrained from commenting.
Talking about
Aishwarya and Salman locking horns, a source told mid-day, "It will
be an exciting clash, since Aishwarya and Salman's relationship continues to
hold the audience's attention, even years after it went kaput. While Salman
boasts of tremendous box-office pull, Ash and Anil too have a huge fan following
and will draw the audience to the theatres."
Revealing details
of Anil and Aishwarya’s reaction to the release date, the source further added,
"Arjun N Kapoor, Prernaa Arora, Bhushan Kumar and Rakeysh Omprakash
Mehra met Aishwarya and Anil, who were happy to have a festival release. The
team is aware of Race 3 also releasing on Eid, but they are confident of their film.”
As far as Race 3
is concerned, the entire team met yesterday for a mahurat shot and have
officially kick-started the film. Race 3 stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby
Deol, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah. Aishwarya, on the other hand, has already
started shooting for Fanney Khan. She will be shooting for a number of songs in
the coming month. While Anil Kapoor has almost completed his part of the film,
Rajkummar is yet to start shooting as he is still healing his broken leg.
As far as the
massive box-office clash is concerned, looks like half of the makers’ work is
done in terms of their films’ publicity, with the news of this interesting
face-off between Aishwarya and Salman.
