Bad News for Krushna & Bharti: After Akshay, Hrithik says Yes to Kapil Sharma
More and more actors are steering clear of Comedy Nights Bachao. Is it time for Krushna, Bhatri & Co to rework on their show?
This morning began on a sour note for Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh & Co. It was reported that Akshay Kumar, who decided to not promote his upcoming film Rustom on Krushna’s Comedy Nights Bachao, will be making an appearance on his arch rival Kapil Sharma’s show.
Now, SpotboyE.com has further bad news for Govinda’s nephew. We have learnt that Hrithik Roshan, who too has given Krushna’s show a miss, has decided to promote Mohenjo Daro on The Kapil Sharma Show.
Time for some more details of their shoot. We hear, Hrithik will make an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show with his Mohenjo Daro co-star Pooja Hegde and filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, and the episode will be shot on August 2. On the other hand, Akshay’s episode that will also feature Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta will be shot 3 days later on August 5.

Both Mohenjo Daro and Rustom are clashing at the box-office on August 12. But as far as their episodes on Kapil’s show are concerned, both Hrithik and Akshay seem to have chalked out their plans. Hrithik’s episode will be aired on August 7, well before the film’s release. As for the Akshay episode, it will be an Independence Day Special and will be telecast on August 14 – that is, 2 days after Rustom’s release.
Clearly, both Akshay and Hrithik have shown their preference for Kapil over Krushna. This comes close on the heels of Jacqueline Fernandez’s refusal to be a part of his Comedy Nights (Jacqueline refuses to be ‘insulted’ by Krushna & Bharti, Jul 25). We hear, Krushna’s style of insult comedy has not gone down well with many stars – many people from the industry feel that his comments are often derogatory and rather offensive, especially the manner in which they are delivered.
Looks like Krushna, Bharti & Co. need to restrategise their Sunday show ASAP. The alarm bells are already ringing!
