When Dharma Productions announced its association with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar early this year, it came as a big surprise to all as Salman and Dharma’s association had been long pending after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998).

Dharma Productions announced that it is co-producing a film starring Akshay Kumar, with none other than Salman Khan. The film’s subject is still under wraps.
BUT unfortunately this association did not last long!
Now, SpotboyE.com has it that Salman Khan has might opt out of this film and will no longer co-produce it. And what’s the reason for this?

Well, it is not creative differences but personal differences between Salman Khan and his ex-manger, Reshma Shetty. In case you’re thinking how Salman and Reshma Shetty will cross each other’s path as far as this film is concerned, then let us remind you that Reshma Shetty has a strong professional association with Dharma Productions. Reshma Shetty is also Akshay Kumar’s new manager.
We hear that Salman Khan is not at all keen to associate with his ex-manager in any capacity anymore.

Interestingly, this is the second time that Dharma and Salman have parted ways after coming on board for a film. Earlier, Dharma Productions was supposed to collaborate with Salman on his ambitious project Shuddhi. The project was eventually shelved after multiple cast changes.
Salman Khan parted ways with Reshma Shetty 3 months back as he wanted to move all his business commitments in-house. Reshma’s talent management company, Matrix, and Salman released a statement announcing their split.
