The musical chairs regarding the male lead of Karan Johar’s ambitious film Kalank seems to have come to an end.
After Hrithik Roshan turned down the Partition drama (Why Hrithik said No to Karan Johar yet again, May 30), the filmmaker approached his blue-eyed boy Sidharth Malhotra for the Abhishek Varman-directed movie.
We hear, Sid is likely to give his nod to the project.

The Partition drama is a 2-hero film – Arjun Kapoor had been roped in for the parallel lead in November last year (Arjun Kapoor teams up with 2 States director again, Nov 23) when Hrithik was considered for the lead.
Now it will be interesting to see if contemporaries Sid and Arjun agree to share screen space.
