Deepika Padukone Makes Her First International Red Carpet Appearance At The MTV Europe Music Awards
After bagging a role Hollywood, Deepika Padukone’s journey of walking down the international red carpets have also kick-started
Bollywood hottie who is making noise in Hollywood as well-Deepika Padukone finally makes an appearance at an international red carpet. Deepika attended this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards in Rotterdam, as she is busy promoting her next film xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage.
The actress wore a black and olive green ensemble on the red carpet. Padukone took to the main stage, along with Nina Dobrev, to hand out the best videos award. Both also clicked a cute pout Selfie! She was seen bonding with Nina Dobrev who was also hosting the EMA Awards.
After the show, Deepika was asked if she was nervous presenting the award, the confident lady quickly replied, “Not At All!”
Before walking the red carpet, Deepika spoke to a leading daily and said “I was pleasantly surprised when I got the invite. It is very gracious of them to invite me. I have grown up watching the MTV awards and I didn’t think that one day, I would be walking down the red carpet and presenting an award at this global music event. It’s a step forward in my global career,”
Deepika further added, “This is my first time at such an event so I don’t know what to expect. I am going there just to have fun. I understand the platform and what it is all about; it is a music award and I love music. I listen to a lot of music of the people, who are playing there so right now everything seems surreal in that sense. It’s going to be a fun and magical evening and I just want to experience that,”
Talking about her Bollywood projects, Deepika is currently occupied with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati starring Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
