Canadian singer Justin Bieber is expected to arrive in the city today and our Bollywood industry is all set to welcome him with gifts and after-parties.
Ranbir Kapoor’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni (who’s a jewellery designer) will be gifting a bespoke wreath shaped necklace embellished in ornate rubies and marquise diamonds encrusted in platinum and 18k gold to Bieber’s mother, Patricia (Pattie) Mallette. The sparkling red of spring and the balefire of hope represent a life full of passion and love is defined by supreme craftsmanship and resplendent finesse.
Riddhima while talking to a section of media about her gift said, “In the 1880s, French jewellers called the ruby the gem of gems. Philosophies say red is the colour of the heart. We have drawn inspiration from the ruby’s fiery nature to create a collection that champions passion and success. Bieber is a youth icon who everyone loves but the pillar of strength in his life has been his mother and it’s a tribute to this brilliant woman.”
She also added that Justin enjoys wearing her creations as much as she enjoys making them for him and his mom. Unfortunately, she won’t be able to attend his live concert in Mumbai as she has a work exhibit scheduled in Delhi. Expressing her disappointment of not being able to enjoy the concert, Riddhima added, “I would have loved to hear him sing my favourite track, Where Are You Now, live in Mumbai.”
Apart from Riddhima’s gift, a customised Sitar and Tabla, an autographed Sarod, to a luxurious biker jacket in cotton velvet with 10,000 crystals from Swarovski is what the Pop artist Justin Bieber will be receiving in a huge luxe basket of souvenirs titled as “With Love From India” as soon as he sets foot in India.
