After his last few films including Tamasha failed to make an impact at the box-office, Imtiaz Ali wants to make sure that he doesn’t go wrong with his next.
And who better than box-office king Shah Rukh Khan to guide him? We already told you how SRK has given the nod to the filmmaker’s project (It’s official: Shah Rukh is doing Imtiaz’s film, Feb 02).
Now, SpotboyE has it that the two have midnight meetings where they brainstorm over the nature of the story, characters and situations that could be incorporated in the film.
Unlike Imtiaz’s previous heroes like Shahid Kapoor or Saif Ali Khan, King Khan likes to be kept in the loop right from the start and is taking an active interest in the progress of the film on a regular basis.
We hear, the movie is going to be an out-and-out comedy. A source says, “Imtiaz wants to break away from the philosophical heaviness of Rockstar, Highway and Tamasha.”
