Panipat Trailer: This Period Drama Starring Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon And Sanjay Dutt Is High On Action And Grandeur
The power-packed trailer of Ashutosh Gowariker’s much-awaited Panipat starring Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt is out now!
Acclaimed filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker’s upcoming high-octane period drama – Panipat – has been in the news since its inception. The film stars Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles and will bring the historical Third Battle of Panipat, which is known to be among one of the mightiest battles fought in the history of India, on the celluloid. Today, the trailer of this magnum opus is out and it’s an Arjun Kapoor show all the way. Right from the actor’s convincing portrayal of Sadashiv Rao Bhau to some of the most intense action scenes and the grandeur; Panipat seems to be yet another Ashutosh Gowariker classic. Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt, too, manage to leave a mark with their spectacular performances. In the film, Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the Afghan king Ahmed Shah Abdali, who was the opponent to Arjun’s character of Sadashivrao in the third battle of Panipat that resulted in a huge defeat of the Maratha army. For the film, Arjun Kapoor has undergone a massive transformation and some intense workout sessions, along with learning horse riding. And by the looks Panipat’s trailer, the actor didn’t disappoint.

Meanwhile, Panipat marks Ashutosh Gowariker’s comeback to the big screens after his 2016 dud film, Mohenjo Daro starring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde. The film has been jointly produced by Sunita Gowariker and Rohit Shelatkar and is scheduled to hit the big screens on December 6, 2019.
