Anushka Sharma starrer Pari has been in news ever since
the makers released posters of the film. Right from its release date, clash
with Pad Man and Anushka’s ‘ghostly’ avatar- the film has been creating a lot
of buzz.
Now a few minutes ago, the actor-turned producer Anushka
Sharma shared the first teaser of the movie on Instagram.
She captioned the video, “She will grow on you...
#1MonthToPari.”
The teaser starts with Anushka watching cartoon with a
smile on her face and as the camera pans, you see her handcuffed. Slowly, her
nails start growing and skin gets wrinkled.
A few days ago, Anushka had shared the poster of the
film, where we saw a battered Anushka Sharma seated with a spooky look on her
face. The presence of a ghost-like figure right behind the actress with hands
placed on her shoulder adds to the eeriness. The actress took to her Instagram
account and captioned the snap, “#HoliWithPari @officialcsfilms
@parambratachattopadhyay @iprernaarora #KarneshSharma @kriarj #ArjunNKapoor
#poojafilms.”
Talking more about the film, we had told you that the
makers of Pari (Anushka Sharma and Prernaa Arora from KriArj Entertainment)
had to cancel the film’s digital trailer launch (Jan 5) due to
Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor’s Padmaavat.
A source had told SpotboyE.com, “Anushka and Prernaa
Arora (KriArj Entertainment, co-producer of Pari) had decided to launch the
trailer today as no films were on the horizon as a result of which movie-buffs
would be focused on Pari. However, speculations surrounding Padmaavat’s release
date forced them to change their plans.”
The film, which was earlier slated to release
on Feb 9, will now hit theatres on March 3, 2018.
