Sunny torn between son Karan and brother Bobby

With Ghayal Once Again out of the way, Sunny Deol has now shifted his focus to his next. We told you how the actor-director was setting the stage for his son Karan’s debut with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas (Sunny pays papa Dharam a tribute in his son Karan’s debut, Feb 7). However, Bobby Deol has come in the way of Karan’s debut. How? We’ll tell you.
You remember that Bobby’s comeback vehicle Changez was put on the
backburner when the financer pulled the plug on it at the last minute (Bobby’s
comeback film Changez put on hold, Jan 30).
Now, with Ghayal Once Again faring rather well, we hear, a financer
(name withheld) has shown hope in Sunny’s directorial and production strengths
and hence, has come forth to produce his next.
This has put Sunny in a dilemma – should he push the finance for Karan’s
first film? Or use the money to breathe life into Bobby’s sagging career?
A source close to the Deol family says, “Sunny considers both films equally important and he has assured Bobby that his movie will roll sometime this year. He has similar plans for his son’s debut too.” We’re sure Sunny will turn to papa Dharmendra for advice. And it’ll be interesting to see what Dharam, who dotes on Bobby, will have to say about this.
Will Sunny go back to the financer’s table for
another round of discussion? We’ll keep a watch on the Deol household for the
next few weeks as the drama will unfold and a decision will be taken.
