Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had extended an invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to grace their reception party, and he has finally arrived.


Hosted by the Kohlis, the wedding reception is taking place right now at the Taj Diplomatic Enclave. The wedding reception is taking place in the national capital, and people from all across the nation are expected to attend. Both Virat and Anushka are seen sporting traditional Indian wear.


Since Virat and Anushka returned from their European honeymoon, they have been spending some down time with the cricketer’s family in Delhi.

The lovely couple got hitched in a hush-hush ceremony in Tuscany on December 11. The wedding was definitely what fairy tales are made of. Post an extended honeymoon amidst snowcapped mountains, Virat and Anushka dropped by the homes of some family friends in Europe and returned back to Delhi in time for their reception preparations.


Coming back to the wedding, we were the first ones to break the story about Virushka's wedding.

The wedding was definitely a gala event with pictures and videos floating all over social media. In one of the video you could see Anushka and Virat having their bidaai function, which garnered maximum eyeballs. You can see how Anushka became emotional during that function.

After the reception today in Delhi, there is another gala reception event to be held at St. Regis, Mumbai on December 26.



The newlyweds, who have bought a swanky Rs 34 Crore apartment in Worli, Mumbai, will travel to South Africa soon after the celebrations get over. Virat will start prepping for the upcoming series and Anushka will spend New Year’s Eve with him and return in the first week of January to begin the next schedule of Aanand L Rai’s film, Rangbaaz, with Shah Rukh Khan & Katrina Kaif in Mumbai. She will also start prepping for Sui Dhaaga as the shooting for the same starts in February 2018 with Varun Dhawan. Anushka will also be busy with the marketing and promotions of Pari which is releasing on February 9.
