There you go! Pyaari Bindu Parineeti Chopra has given a karara jawaab to all those who accused her of auto-tuning her singing debut, Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin
Parineeti Chopra’s debut playback number from Meri Pyaari Bindu --Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin -- is winning the hearts across and needless to say, the actress couldn’t have asked for more.
However, soon after the song’s release, a few netizens accused Parineeti of auto-tuning it. Instead of getting into a heated argument with ‘haters’ she responded by giving proof.
The actress took to Instagram and posted a video of her singing in the recording studio. She captioned the clip as, “And this is how it happened!!!! Blessed. Also -my answer to all the auto tune questions ... NO AUTO TUNE!! #BehindTheScenes#MaanaKeHumYaarNahin#MeriPyaariBindu”
In today’s times, a number of celebs-turned-singers resort to auto tuning to enhance their voice in the song. However, when she spoke to SpotboyE.com, Parineeti said, “We recorded the song in 2 hrs flat at YRF Studios some time ago. Sachin-Jigar and I were clear that my voice would not be auto-tuned. I didn’t want any sort of technical help.”
While speaking to a section of media, she said, “I swear I didn’t even think of all these things. I am so obsessed with music in life. When I was at that recording studio behind that mic, I was just thinking about me singing. And I just wanted to sing as technically sound as it could be. I didn’t want any auto-tune. What you hear in the song is my take. Nothing has been ‘fixed’. And I’m proud of the fact that it wasn’t required because I have learnt music. Using auto-tune would have been a slap on my music education.”
