What made Preity Zinta storm out of Bhaiyyaji Superhitt media meet?
Seems, a few days ago, the makers of Bhaiyyaji Superhitt -- director Neerraj Pathak and producer Chirag Dhariwal -- invited the media to the film’s location in the western suburbs. For some reason we are yet to fathom, the actors -- Sunny Deol, Preity, Ameesha Patel and others -- were not informed about this media interaction early on.
When a little birdie told us about Preity Zinta acting tough on the sets of her upcoming film Bhaiyyaji Superhitt, we were taken aback.
Who/what could have rubbed an otherwise affable Preity the wrong way, we wondered. A little snooping around and the whole story unfolded.

Now, let’s talk about PZ. When the Kal Ho Naa Ho actress heard about the journos’ arrival in the eleventh hour, she lost her cool and walked out. Both Chirag and Neerraj, we hear, didn’t know what hit them. What would they tell the journos? How will they explain Preity’s absence? A thousand questions raced through their minds.
With no time to lose, the entire team worked on war-footing. They cajoled and literally pleaded before the dimpled actress, saying her walk-out will send a wrong message to the outside world.
Finally, much to everyone’s relief, Preity relented and agreed to talk to the media. Phew!
Coming back to Bhaiyyaji Superhitt, the film also stars Arshad Warsi, Evelyn Sharma, Mithun Chakraborty, Prakash Raj and Shreyas Talpade. The film was first announced in 2011, but has been getting delayed due to various reasons.
