Yuvraj Singh: I Will Marry Hazel In The First Week Of December
Ex-flames Deepika Padukone & Kim Sharma were also present at the launch of Yuvi’s fashion initiative
SpotboyE.com was the first to tell you that Yuvraj Singh and his actress fiancée Hazel Keech will tie the knot by the end of this year (Hazel Keech & Yuvraj Singh to tie the knot by the end of this year, Jul 27).
As always, we were bang on. A short while ago, at the launch of a fashion initiative by YouWeCan -- a cancer charity founded by him -- Yuvi said he and Hazel will exchange marital vows in the first week of December. Interestingly, Yuvraj’s former girlfriends Deepika Padukone and Kim Sharma were very much present when he announced his wedding plans.
The fashion event was held at The Trident, Nariman Point. Apart from Bollywood stars, it was also attended by many national and international sports stars.
Some of the celebrities who walked the ramp included sports stars like Yuvraj, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Chris Gayle, Baichung Bhutia, Dwayne Bravo, Sharmila Nicollet, Ishant Sharma, Ashish Nehra, PR Sreejesh, Rohit Sharma and Sushil Kumar. The clothes were all designed by Shantanu & Nikhil.
On a special night such as this, Yuvi ensured that he made Hazel feel special -- she was the only non-sports personality who hit the ramp. Yuvraj jokingly said: “If I didn’t allow Hazel to be on the ramp tonight, she wouldn’t let me inside the house. So, I had had to let her walk the ramp.”
The Bollywood celebrities at the event were Amitabh Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Kajol, Riteish Deshmukh, TV couple Karan Kundra and Anusha Dandekar, Jackie Shroff, Abhishek Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Bobby Deol, Farah Khan, Gaurav Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Shawar Ali and Bruna Abdullah.
Coming to Yuvi and his former flames, there was no awkwardness whatsoever. The cricketer even hugged Deepika, with whom he is allegedly said to have been in a relationship in 2008. However, the two soon parted ways, reportedly because of Yuvi’s possessive ways.
Kim and Yuvraj were said to be extremely serious about each other and were in a relationship for close to 4 years. But they called it quits in 2007, allegedly because Yuvi’s mom Shabnam didn’t approve of her son’s choice.
