Bigg Boss 10, Day 71: Bani And Gaurav’s ‘Diplomacy’ Irks Housemates, Mona UPSET With Manu

The housemates wake up to the song Om Shanti Om ringing in Swami Om’s birthday. To bring in some respite after repeated failures in the Luxury Budget Tasks, Bigg Boss introduces this week’s Luxury Budget Task - Gaurav and Bani’s chat show. For this task, VJ Bani and Gaurav Chopra are called in the confession room where they are required to answer questions thrown their way with honesty.
For this, Bani and Gaurav have been told that they are going live and the aam janta will clear certain doubts and ask for clarifications from them about the happenings in the house. Bigg Boss also informs them that he will ask the questions on audience’s behalf. What they don’t know is that the other housemates, as part of a secret task, are actually asking the questions.
Seizing this opportunity, the housemates begin to identify questions that will leave the 2 buddies, Bani and Gaurav tongue-tied. Taking the baton first, Manveer Gurjar asks Bani and Gaurav the reason behind avoiding the ugly fight between Lopamudra Raut and Priyanka Jagga, while silently supporting Priyanka.
Bani says that initially she was unaware of the behind the reason the fight and hence decided to stay away from the conflict. She further says that Priyanka never made any hurtful or personal comments about her or her family unlike Swami Om, therefore she was always cordial with her.
On his part, Gaurav adds that he did not wish to smear his image or stoop low by getting involved in someone else’s issue.
Lopa, along with the other housemates who are watching this live chat, express extreme displeasure towards Bani and Gaurav for giving very diplomatic answers.
Another highlight of today’s episode is the growing distance between Mona Lisa and Manu Punjabi. Mona is seen confronting Manu, asking him for a justification regarding the acknowledgement he gave to the statement (during the compatibility task ) saying that she often troubles him.
Manu responds by saying that she has completely misunderstood him and hence, need not take his comments to heart. He adds that her boyfriend (Vikrant) has been putting unnecessary allegations on them (Bigg Boss 10, Day 67: Mona CHEATING On Her BOYFRIEND Vikrant With Manu?, Dec22). He further says that it would be in Mona’s interest if she gets evicted from the house.
While having a similar conversation with Nitibha Kaul, Mona points out that Manu might have his own reasons for saying that she is a troublemaker in his life but saying it on national television was not the right thing. Being a friend that she is, Nitibha advices her to sort it out with Manu to avoid any further misunderstanding.
As the day comes to a close, Nitibha’s mean behaviour comes to the forefront, and Manu and Mona are seen discussing it. They talk about how Nitibha is double-faced and that she sweet talks Manveer to get her work done.
