Chaos At Star Parivaar Awards 2017: Devoleena Bhattacharjee Fails To Be Recognised, Shivangi Joshi Shunned By The Media

It was a starry night as the who’s who of the TV world turned up for the Star Parivaar Awards 2017 at NSCI, Worli. From striking fashion statements to incredible performances, the annual event had lots of boast about.
However, just like a grand event, this one too had its share of glitches. To begin with Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who essays the role of Gopi Bahu on Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, walked into the do with good friend Bhavini Purohit in tow. No sooner did they approach the security point did the official ask the two for passes. Needless to say, this did not go down well with the actresses who are established names.
After minutes of to and fro between them and the official, the latter allowed them to go inside. Once in, Devoleena saw that other TV stars were busy giving bytes, which obviously meant that she had to wait for her turn. This ticked her off and she raised her middle finger. Seconds later, she stomped out and refused to walk the red carpet.
When contacted, Devoleena was in denial mode and said that she was upset about something else and refused to throw light on what rubbed her the wrong way.
Furthermore, Shivangi Joshi aka Naira Singhania of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was on a roll last night. She, along with Mohsin Khan bagged the award for the Best Jodi. The actress also took home the award for the Best Patni. In addition to the above, Shivangi put up a great performance at the awards gala. Thus, the actress took a while to speak to the media waiting outside.
Once free, she expressed a desire to wear a gown specially designed for the media red carpet and headed to the vanity van. However, it took longer than expected (over 2 hours) and the media decided to walk out.
Ouch!
That’s not all.
SpotboyE.com can also tell you that Ruhanika Dhawan’s ( Pihu of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein) mother was mighty upset with the seating arrangements. She expressed her displeasure at not being seated up front making it difficult for the two to enjoy the show. She requested the production crew to give them other seats, but to no avail. She exited the venue cribbing.
