Krystle D’Souza refuses to play Rubina Dilaik’s younger sis...

When you make decisions in haste, chances are, you will repent at leisure.

So, will television actress Krystle D’Souza of the Ek Nayi Pehchaan fame regret the golden opportunity she missed?

The story goes, Krystle was offered a role in Colors’ upcoming show Shakti, which revolves around two sisters. While Rubina Dilaik has been finalised to play the elder sis, the makers were keen on roping in Krystle as the chhoti behen.

But Krystle turned down the offer. Flatly.



Reason: She didn’t want to play Rubina’s younger sibling. Says a source, “Krystle felt that the focus would be on Rubina’s character and she wouldn’t have much to do in the larger scheme of things.”



Here comes the twist. The actress was totally mistaken about the magnitude of her role.

Adds the source, “Krystle doesn’t know that as the storyline progresses, her character will turn out to be an equally important one. We could have made her see light if she had agreed to a proper discussion --- but unfortunately, she was just not interested.”
