We were the first ones to tell you that Beyhadh actor Piyush Sahdev was arrested by the Mumbai Police on November 23.
His arrest shook up the TV fraternity. The arrest took place after a complaint was filed against him at the Versova police station by a girl who levelled rape and cheating charges against him. He was charged with rape under section 376.

Piyush’s first two bail pleas were rejected and he has been in judicial custody in the Arthur Road Jail ever since. Now, further development on the case suggests that there was definitely sexual assault. Medical reports of Piyush, confirm that he was guilty of rape.
Kiran Kale, Senior Inspector, Versova Police Station gave a statement to a section of the media by saying, “He is still in jail and his charge sheet is being prepared; until then he is being kept in judicial custody and the investigation is going on alongside.”
Piyush had met the woman through mutual friends and soon moved in with her; he then proposed marriage to her after two months of their relationship. When the woman found some objectionable photographs of him with another girl, they had a nasty fight and the actor apparently refused to marry her. The woman then approached the police on November 20 and filed a rape case against him.
Piyush's sister actress Meher Vij, said in an exclusive interview to us,"I Don’t Believe That My Brother Can Rape Somebody."
Piyush's estranged wife, Akangsha also broke her silence and finally spoke up about filing divorce and how her statement can affect Piyush.
