You are back on television with 24 after a long gap...
I am amazed seeing the trailer. None of us had seen it earlier other than Anil (Kapoor) Sir. This is so much like a film. I am so proud to be associated with this project. I had done a song with Anil sir in Welcome Back and we had gelled well. And that’s how he contacted me for 24. (directors) briefed me and I said yes.
You are seen romancing Anil Kapoor and Sikandar Kher...
I can’t divulge much about my character. 24 is a thriller.

Why does this become a question? Television has undergone a sea of change. People do kiss when in love, don't they?

How was it working with Anil?
He is jhakkas. He is too much fun. His energy is infectious. Every young actor needs to work with him because you are going to learn a lesson of life.

Did you have a gruelling schedule in 24?
Yes. The show is pretty complex. Some parts of mine were shot in Pune and we often filmed at night .The scenes were really heavy and intense.
Have you faced the casting couch in your career?
Oh ya! But surprisingly not in Bollywood. It came from the South industry. I haven’t seen the bad side of Bollywood yet. It seems like I have had some protective forces around me.

How did you react to the casting couch offers?
Don't remind me of those phone calls and text messages. I wasn’t game for it. I will wait for the right kind of work. If I have it in me, everything will fall in place. You need a bit of luck too in this industry.
