The Bachchans- Aishwarya, Abhishek and Aaradhya were in Maldives to celebrate the couple’s wedding anniversary. Abhishek shared a couple of pictures of “his girls” chilling at the island city. A picture where he clicked Aishwarya in moonlight was just too perfect. The Guru actor had aptly captioned it as, “Honey and the Moon”
On work front, Aishwarya and Abhishek were supposed to unite for Anurag Kashyap’s Gulaab Jamun, however, the couple dropped the idea as they were not happy with the final script. Now, Aishwarya is said to be doing a Mani Ratnam film, which is apparently an adaptation of Kalki Krishnamurthy’s popular historical novel, Ponniyin Selvan (The Son of Ponni). It is touted to have an ensemble cast as Mani Ratnam is in talks with veterans like Amitabh Bachchan, Vikram, Jayam Ravi amongst others. However, no confirmations have come from any of the actors so far.

Abhishek Bachchan, on the other hand, delivered a hit last year, Manmarziyaan, directed by Anurag Kashyap. He returned to the big screen after a break and was applauded for his impeccable performance in the film, which also starred Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.
