As soon as paps snapped actress Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar outside a hospital in Mumbai, several reports of her mother and veteran actress Dimple Kapadia being hospitalized started surfacing the internet. But before the news could spread like wildfire, the veteran actress herself quashed the rumours and gave the actual reason behind Twinkle’s hospital visit. It is not Dimple but her mother and Twinkle’s grandmother, Betty Kapadia who is hospitalized. Refraining to dilute furthermore details, she informed her mother being better now and asked people for prayers and wishes for her mother.
When contacted by IANS, a news agency, putting the rumours to rest, Dimple Kapadia said, "I am alive and kicking. It's my mother who has been hospitalised. I don't want to talk about it. My mother is doing fine. She is better now. I need all the prayers and best wishes.” We too wish for actress’ mother a speedy recovery and prayer for her well being. Karan Kapadia, Dimple’s nephew too posted a picture on his Instagram, with Betty, with emojis in his caption. As per reported in PTI, Betty Kapadia, was hospitalized on Saturday, she was admitted to Hinduja hospital in Khar. Reports further states, of Betty Kapadia being in ICU.
62-year-old Dimple is currently working on two of the most illustrious projects of her career. With her acting prowess the actress has been roped in by Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan, for his upcoming film Tenet. While she shot for that, the actress has also shot of Homi Adajania’s upcoming movie Angrezi Medium. With Homi’s this flick, it marks Dimple’s fourth film after Being Cyrus, Cocktail, Finding Fanny and now Angrezi Medium with the director.
