Akshay Kumar has many interesting projects in the pipeline. One of his many films his fans are looking forward to is Ram Setu. The actor, as many know, is currently shooting for the yet untitled film with Rakul Preet Singh in London. The actor will soon return to India and complete shooting for his upcoming film 'Ram Setu'. Yes, you read that right!
According to Times of India, Akshay will return to the shooting of 'Ram Setu' in October and complete the film by December this year. As many already know, Akshay had begun with the mahurat of the film in March in Ayodhya and was to shoot a long schedule in Mumbai but due to the lockdown and also because some members of the team including Akshay Kumar tested positive, the shoot was cancelled. As per multiple reports, some portion of the film was to be shot in Sri Lanka but the makers changed their plans.
Later, it was decided to shift the shoot to Kerala but with the state becoming a hotspot for COVID, the makers of the film have now reportedly decided to shoot the outdoor portions of the film in Gujarat. Apart from Akshay Kumar, the movie also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez. Ram Setu is directed by Abhishek Sharma.
