Virat recently surprised his fans as he held an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Instagram, and responded to his fans’ questions. He received numerous questions ranging from his cricket career, to even personal ones about his and Anushka’s daughter Vamika. Anushka crashed his AMA session to ask him an important question!
Anushka Sharma dropped in her question, as she wanted to know where Virat kept her headphones. “Where have you kept my headphones?” asked Anushka, and Virat had a loving reply for her. Referring to Anushka as his ‘love’, Virat wrote, “Always on the side table next to the bed love.” Meanwhile, Virat also answered a fan who wanted to know what the meaning of their daughter’s name Vamika was. The fan also asked when fans could see a glimpse of Vamika.
Replying with the meaning of Vamika’s name, Virat wrote, “Vamika is another name for goddess Durga.” As for the other part of the question, about fans wanting to see Vamika, Virat wrote, “No we have decided as a couple to not expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice."

Even before Vamika’s birth, Anushka Sharma had made it clear in an interview with Vogue that she and Virat had decided to keep their baby away from the media glare. “We definitely do not want to raise a child in the public eye— we don’t plan on engaging our child in social media. I think it’s a decision your child should be able to take,” she said.
