Kangana Ranaut received a lot of flak from some officials and citizens after her controversial tweets on the Mumbai force and Mumbai city. After asking for protection from the centre of the Himachal Pradesh government, stating that she didn’t have any trust in the Mumbai police and compared the city to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), a former Mumbai Police officer has now sent a notice to Kangana Ranaut, seeking an apology for her remark against Mumbai Police, as reported by Times Now. Reportedly, in his legal notice, the former police officer has asked Ranaut to justify her comments or be prepared to pay 'damages' for defamation.
As the police officer is demanding an apology from the actress, on the other side, BMC created havoc at the actress' office in Mumbai. Recently, Kangana Ranaut took to her social media to share videos of how the BMC officials have forcefully taken over her office Manikarnika Films in Mumbai. The actress mentioned that she has all papers of no illegal construction but the BMC is demolishing her office tomorrow.
Apart from all this, Ranaut has been granted Y level security by the centre, for which, Home Minister of Maharashtra, Anil Deshmukh seemed a bit disappointed who said, "It is surprising and sad that those who insult Mumbai and Maharashtra, are being given 'Y' level security by the centre. Maharashtra is not only of NCP, Shiv Sena or Congress but of BJP & the public too. People of all party should condemn it if one insults Maharashtra."
