Narcotics Control Bureau has been working swiftly to crack the alleged Bollywood drug cartel which emerged after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. New names of Bollywood actors have been emerging every now and then. In the recent development, NCB raided comedian Bharti Singh’s residence office and house from where they recovered 86.5 gms of Ganja. After a day of judicial custody, the comedian and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa were granted bail. Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik too was granted bail after 3 months of jail in the drug case linked to the SSR death case.
Now in a huge twist, the anti-narcotics made the biggest seizure of the banned substance and arrested a drug supplier, Regel Mahakal, in Mumbai, who had been absconding in the drug case. NCB has seized contraband named Malana cream'', worth Rs 2.5 crore. As per a report in NDTV, NCB seized banned substances from various locations in Mumbai's posh Andheri West. The seized substances include 5 kilograms of hashish – worth Rs2.5 crore - small quantities of opioids (afeem) and MDMA, street name Ecstasy.
NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, who’s leading the operation, told ANI, “Today, we have arrested Regel Mahakal. We cannot disclose his links with Rhea Chakraborty and Showik.”
