According to the year-end report released by Twitter, Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet about his Coronavirus diagnosis in July this year became the most liked and quoted tweet of 2020 in Indian Entertainment
The year 2020 is about to end in a few days, and time seemed to have slipped faster than usual amid the Coronavirus pandemic. This year wasn’t necessarily a great one for many, due to several reasons, and amid growing COVID-19 cases this year, we came across the news of several Bollywood celebrities having contacted Coronavirus. In July this year, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan informed fans that he had tested positive for Coronavirus. Turns out, this tweet by Big B has become the most liked and quoted tweet of 2020 in Indian Entertainment.
Twitter recently released a year-end report, stating the roundup of the most popular tweets this year. This report is based on tweets by Twitter accounts in India between January 1 to November 15, 2020. Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet confirming that he tested positive for COVID-19 was the most liked and quoted tweet of 2020 in Indian Entertainment. Big B had tweeted on July 11, “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !”
Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya had also tested positive for COVID-19.

Amitabh Bachchan had been admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital, and after recovering from Coronavirus, he had been discharged from the hospital on August 2. A few days later, Abhishek also recovered and returned home from the hospital.
