2019 has been a rewarding year for actress Taapsee Pannu, with all her three releases striking the right chord of the audience. Sharing screen space with some of the stellar actors from the film industry such as with Amitabh Bachchan in Badla and Akshay Kumar-Vidya Balan in Mission Mangal, she closed 2019 with a biopic on sharpshooter dadis titled Saand Ki Aankh. Now gearing up for her next titled Thappad, it seems that the actress has found her hero for the project. We are talking about Ayushmann Khurrana.
Teasing us with some interesting stories on her Instagram account, the Badla actress first just posted a picture comprising of close-ups of their legs and later revealed it is Ayushmann Khurrana. While she wrote “guess who” in the teaser snap, sharing a selfie posing with the Dream Girl actor, she wrote on the picture, “Hello Khurrrrrrrrrrrrrrana Sahab.” The joy on the actress’s face hints of her being extremely happy with the maker’s choice of roping in the Article 15 actor to star opposite her. In the picture, we can Ayushmann in a blue t-shirt and baggy pants, Taapsee is looking cool in brown dungarees paired with a white t-shirt. If this is true, it would be fun to watch these powerhouses creating fireworks on the celluloid with their collaboration. Meanwhile, Taapsee is busy with Thappad helmed by Abhinav Sinha set to release on February 28, 2020, Ayushmann Khurrana has Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Gulabo Sitabo lined up for release in the year 2020.
