Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan are one of the most loved and popular couples in the industry. Their love story is one that strikes the chords with everyone and even today after so many years the couple looks madly in love with each other. While SRK loves to pamper Gauri with expensive gifts, the interior designer does not give gifts to the actor. Yes, you read that right! In an old interview with Farah Khan, the Dilwale actor revealed she never gives him gifts.
During his appearance on Farah Khan’s chat show Tere Mere Beach Mein, Shah Rukh revealed he has never got any gift from Gauri. He had shared, “Gauri has not given me a single gift....and the excuse she gives is 'What can I give a man who has everything including me?.” The actor even revealed that his wife usually doesn't accept his gifts either. “Normally all the gifts I've given to Gauri in the last 24 years, she always accepts it and gives me a casual hug in front of all but 99.9 per cent of the times she returns the gift and takes something else in its place," Shah Rukh said. In the same interview, the Pathaan star even narrated an old incident when Gauri secretly exchanged his T-shirts for a handbag in London. SRK recalled, “I was in London after my spine injury and I bought some oversized T-shirts. I couldn't wear them so I asked Gauri to get them exchanged. But she told me that in London we can't do that. Later my friends told me that Gauri had exchanged the T-shirts and got a handbag for herself saying since I was in hospital what would I do with the new T-shirts, instead a handbag will be more useful.”
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh and Gauri recently launched her coffee table book ‘My Life in Design’ which features exclusive photos of the family, their three children, and of their house Mannat, and more. For the occasion, the couple made heads turn with their sartorial choices and twinned in elegant black outfits.
