Finally we made it! Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI) has been organising Mumbai Film Festival since quite some time now. The 16th edition of this festival was facing a lot of financial crunch, but our industry did not give up and kick started the festival last evening.
Kiran Rao played a very important role in making this festival happen. Ayan Mukerji also looked thrilled about being a part of this grand ceremony.
And here he is! Ranbir Kapoor might have been missing from various red carpet events lately, but he made sure he is a part of this festival’s inaugural ceremony.

Now isnt Helen looking adorable? The pretty woman was awarded with Life Time Achievement for her contribution to Hindi cinema. French cinemas one of the crucial contributors Catherine Denevue was also awarded Life Time Achievement at MAMI.
Huma Qureshi and Homi Adajania are a part of the jury panel for the film festival.
Kalki confessed that she was a little nervous, as she couldnt find time to rehearse before coming to host the event. Now we are sure she must have rocked the evening!
