Celebs from the different entertainment industry have come forward to voice against Shiv Sena party workers for attacking a retired Navy officer for sharing a meme trolling Uddhav Thackeray on his social media handle.
The recent celeb being Aroh Welankar himself of the Ghantaa fame came forward to show his sign of displeasure on the issue. The actor took to his Instagram handle to throw light on this sensitive issue while taking a stand on the same.
In his photo, the actor is taking a dig at the democratic and liberal government by putting a cross marked duct tape around his lips indicating the death of the freedom of speech and right. The caption of the photo read, "This is in protest for the cowardly attack on a retired navy veteran, for a WhatsApp forward. Yes, I work in Mumbai & I am scared to talk!"
Aroh received a lot of criticism by the netizens who weren't pleased with his post. On the work front, the actor was last seen as a wildcard entrant in Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2.
