The entire world is shocked with bloodcurdling taking place in Afghanistan. Bigg Boss 11 fame Arshi Khan who was born in Afghanistan and later moved to Indian with her family, is worried. The actress is about to get engaged to an Afghan cricketer, but now the actress fears if her family will have to burn the bridges due to the tensed situation in the country. Taken over by Taliban, the country's men and women are going through unbearable pain, due to this invasion.
She told IANS News, “I was to get engaged in October with an Afghanistan cricketer. He had been chosen by my father. But after the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, we may have to put an end to the relationship.” Arshi’s life partner was chosen by her father, and it was supposed to be followed by the two exchanging rings. However, with a tragic scenario, she feels her family might call off their engagement. She also assumes her parents will look for someone in India, whom she would settle down with.
“He was my father’s friend’s son. We are also on talking terms and are like friends, but now I’m sure my parents will find me an Indian partner,” adds Arshi.
Speaking about her origin, she shared about her family history and said, “I’m an Afghani Pathan, and my family belongs to the Yusufzai ethnic group. My grandfather had migrated from Afghanistan and was a jailer in Bhopal.
