Television actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary is one of the most loved contestants in Bigg Boss 16. So much so that the netizens have already declared a winner of the reality show. While fans have constantly been hailing Priyanka for maintaining her composure and playing the game like a boss, the contestants have been doing everything they can to provoke her.
In a recent promo released by the makers of the show, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Soundarya Sharma and Shalin Bhanot can be seen in the garden area of the house performing a fake puja for ‘Overconfidence ki devi’ Priyanka. Soundarya goes as far as to criticize her for pushing people away, being loud and disrespecting others. Fans and netizens have come out to support Priyanka and bashed the other contestants. One wrote, “Nimrit akeli kabi na kheli aur ab bani saundarya b saheli.” Another said, “Insecurity dikh rhi hai, jal gyi shiv ne priyanka ka naam kyu le liya hai.” Another wrote, “Jalkukadi...sab insecure ho gaye...sabki families ne aakar bata diya priyanka ruling the show...sab ke tevar badal gaye...wah shalin n saundarya..aab down karna chahte hai priyanka ko..but sorry woh akeli rah jayegi..but mandli main nahi aayegi...yeh sab BB ki planning hai. For the unversed, this incident happened after contestants were asked to choose their new captain, who would also receive the ticket to the finale. Shiv Thakare takes MC Stan’s name and vice-a-versa and Sumbul Touqeer Khan takes her and Shiv’s name, Shalin goes on to take Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia’s name, so on and so forth. It will be interesting to see how the future episodes pan out.
