It's being rumoured that Bigg Boss 16 contestant Sumbul Touqeer Khan will be taking a voluntary exit from from the show due to her father’s ill health
Television actress Sumbul Touqeer Khan is one of the most loved contestants of Bigg Boss 16. The young actress has risen to the top after facing a lot of allegations about her relationship with Shalin Bhanot, being called childish because of her behaviour. The actress has survived more that 100 days in the reality show and fans and family couldn’t have been more proud.
However, recently rumours have been doing rounds on the internet that she will be taking a voluntary exit from the show because of her father’s ill health. For the unversed, contestants Abdu Rozik and Sajid Khan took voluntary exit from the show to focus more on their upcoming projects. Clarifying the rumours, through a video, Papa Touqeer stated that he has been receiving many calls and messages. He goes on to urge her fans to continue voting for her and claims that news portals and YouTube channels are spreading fake news. Through his Instagram video, the Sumbul’s father said, “I have been receiving messages and calls from this morning. I have learnt that some news portals and YouTube channels are claiming that I am not well because of which Sumbul will take a voluntary exit from Bigg Boss 16. Let me tell you that this news is fake. I am perfectly fine. I do not have any issues at all. Confusion is being created. Please do not believe any rumours. Keep voting for Sumbul. He went on to apologise to his 19-year-old daughter that he couldn’t be there during the family week to support her. Sharing how he is proud to be her father, he said, “Please forgive me for not being able to meet you during the family week but my blessings are always with you. I am writing this to lighten my heart. I feel proud that I am Sumbul Touqeer’s father.”
Meanwhile, the actress has been nominated this week alongside Shalin, Tina Datta and Soundarya Sharma for elimination.
