Controversy queen Rakhi Sawant appeared on the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss 15’ as a wild card entrant with her mysterious NRI husband Ritesh Singh. Interestingly, this was the first time when the world saw Rakhi and her husband together as she had never made any picture of them public since they got married in 2018. While there is much curiosity to know why Ritesh kept his marriage with Sawant away from the public’s eye, he shared that he never got the right opportunity to come out in public with Rakhi.
In a recent interview with SpotboyE.com, Ritesh, who recently got evicted from BB15 house, revealed that he was in Mumbai for Rakhi’s birthday and his decision to enter the Salman Khan-hosted show was his birthday gift to his wife. He said, “It’s not like that I was hiding my relationship with Rakhi in public. Since I and Rakhi have met, we were connected only over the phone, so I never got the right chance to come out in the public with Rakhi. This time I came to Mumbai to celebrate Rakhi’s birthday and she asked me that I should go with her inside Bigg Boss 15 house. She said this would be her gift. So, I accepted it and hence came with her on the show. So, it was nothing like that. I was always happy to accept my relationship with Rakhi in public."
“Rakhi is aware of my first wife. She has always stood by me in my good and bad times. Now, I am waiting for my first wife to legally divorce me so that mai dhoom dhaam se Rakhi ka hath tham saku. This is my wish to give Rakhi justice,” he added.
Rakhi Sawant had first mentioned about her husband Ritesh during her stint on Bigg Boss 14. She got married to him in July 2019 but kept his identity under wraps for the longest time.
