Gotro: Official Teaser Of Much-Awaited Shri Krishna Kirtan From Film Released
The official teaser Shri Krishna Kirtan from the film Gotro is released on the social media platform. The film, directed by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy, is releasing on August 23. 

Windows productions took to its official Instagram and wrote, “শ্রীকৃষ্ণের জন্মতিথীতে আসছে 'গোত্র'র আগামী গান...অদিতি মুন্সীর গলায়...#Gotro #Kirtan.”


The song features Aditi Munshi, the famous Kirtan singer who along with her team has lent her voice in this spiritual song. The song narrates all the names of Lord Krishna with a beautiful melody. The teaser song is perfect for Janmashtami.

Gotro deals with the evils of the caste system, which is still prevalent in society. It also refers to the recent rise of communal sentiment and conflict caused by various divisive ideologies in the country.

The story is about a Hindu aged woman and her Muslim caretaker. They are from different religious background and culture but still they share an emotional bonding like a mother and son. Their bonding in the film has put up a question that is it really necessary to belong from same religion, same
Gotro to be emotionally connected with someone?
