Abir Chatterjee Has A Strong Message For Meme Makers; Says ‘These Wannabe Smartness Is Off Putting’
With millions of people confined to their homes owing to the coronavirus outbreak, some are honing their creativity in making memes, jokes on the current situation. Memes, Tik Tok videos, jokes on coronavirus are flooded on the internet and is becoming viral in minutes, all courtesy to ubiquitous social media. 

Sending out a strong message against the meme makers, Tollywood actor Abir Chatterjee took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “There is a growing tendency of photoshop being used to create memes!No problem with the humour.But pitfall being wrong impression being circulated & part of life/ideologies/stand point being misused & misjudged!No copyright issues but these wannabe smartness is off putting.”


Many fans also agreed with the actor and shared their thoughts in the comment section.

Abir Chatterjee and Sohini Sarkar had shared screen space earlier too in the movie Byomkesh Gotro. Satyakam, a young boy comes to Byomkesh in Kolkata and introduces himself as a son of a business magnate from Mussourie. He confesses that he is a womaniser by nature. He invites Byomkesh to come to Mussoorie because he feels that his life is under threat. When Byomkesh reaches Mussoorie, finds that Satyakam was murdered mysteriously. Boymkesh starts an investigation which reveals a dark history of Satyakam's family.
