Abir Chatterjee on Thursday morning shared the first look poster of his upcoming film’Agantuk’. The film directed b Indraadp Dasgupta also stars Sohini Sarkar in the lead role. The film will be releasing this April. Indraadip Dasgupta’s last Kedara was appreciated by the audience.

Abir took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, “Presenting the #1stlookposter of my next release #Agantuk a film by @iindraadip co-starring @sohinisarkar01.” The film is being bankrolled by Sunday Entertainment.


The poster shows Sohini Sarkar peeping from the door while Abir is looking disturbed. He is standing in the background. Agantuk story revolves around the life of an elderly woman, who is found dead in her residence. Is it a murder or an accident? How things unfold after the murder is what the film is all about. Abir Chatterjee will be seen playing a key role. Actress Sohini Sarkar is playing the role of an elderly woman.

Abir Chatterjee and Sohini Sarkar has shared screen space earlier too in the movie Byomkesh Gotro. Satyakam, a young boy comes to Byomkesh in Kolkata and introduces himself as son of a business magnate from Mussourie. He confesses that he is a womaniser by nature. He invites Byomkesh to come to Mussoorie because he feels that his life is under threat. When Byomkesh reaches Mussoorie, finds that Satyakam was murdered mysteriously. Boymkesh starts investigation which reveals a dark history of Satyakam's family.
