Buro Sadhu: Director Vik Shares His Thoughts Behind The Film
Director Vik upcoming 'Buro Sadhu' which stars Ritwick Chaudhary and Ishaa Saha will be releasing next month.

The film deals with a man who is addicted to alcohol and how he destroys himself.
But the film also spreads a strong message on alcoholism and it's bad effects. The basic story showcases stress, anxiety, depression which a human faces. Director has tried to show all these emotions in his movie.

Talking about his film, Vik said that the film spreads awareness against alcoholism and intoxication

“I have tried to make a film with a multiple layers yet through a simpler storyline. It deals with the conflict between passion and profession, which majority of the people go through. Often people are forced to choose a profession, separate from their passion. I feel mental illness is a glaring issue," he said to The Times of India.

In the trailer, Abir played by Ritwick Chakraborty is an alcoholic who is not ambitious and has no future plans. People including his family members think he is mentally unstable. Due to over drinking he suffers from hallucination. The trailer also shows his girlfriend at an younger age played by Mishmee Das and his fiancee played by Ishaa Saha. There is also glimpse of Chiranjit Chakraborty who is appearing as the alter ego of Abir when he is drunk. In the trailer we can see different looks of Ritwick Chakraborty to show his character at different ages.

Actress Ishaa Saha is best known for her performance in ‘Sweater (2019), Projapoti Biskut (2017).
