Popular Tamil actor Surya or Suriya Sivakumar turned 44 and Tollywood flooded him with warm wishes. Yet, the best wish he got was from Bengali director Ram Kamal Mukherjee.

The director posted a collage of Surya and wrote, “One of the most down to earth superstar I have met. Humble and always greets with a smile. Played probably the most versatile roles on screen. Keep shining, and stay the same always. Have a great year ahead with success. Happy birthday @Suriya_offl #HappyBirthdaySURIYA.”


On the work front, Suriya is all set to woo the audience with his upcoming film Kaappaan. The film is expected to release in August. The film is based on the Prime Minister of India and his security force. Mohanlal will be seen playing the role of the PM, while Suriya will be seen as his savior. Suriya was last seen in the Selvaraghavan directed film NGK.

This short film will be produced by Aritra Das, Gaurav Daga and Shailendra Kumar under of Assorted Motion Pictures and SS 1 Entertainments banner.

The story of ‘Broken Frame’ revolves around the life of a happily married couple. But on the night of their wedding anniversary, something happens that changes the course of their life forever.
