Director Soukarya Ghosal’s directorial Rawkto Rawhoshyo will be releasing soon. And to hook up the fans, the director has shared behind the scene picture on social media. The film stars Koel Mallick, Lily Chakraborty, Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Basabdutta Chatterjee and Chandan Roy Sanyal in pivotal roles. The film was announced in 2018 and it got delayed with reasons unknown.

Soukarya Ghosal shared a picture on Twitter and wrote, “Waiting for the Magic to happen! Shooting #RawktoRawhoshyo was not easy hence intriguing.”


In the film, Koel Mallick will be essaying the role of RJ. “My character name is Swarnaja. She is an RJ by profession. Swarnaja has been raised by her grandmother. The film travels into her past which is filled with mystery,” Koel said about her role.

Director Soukarya Ghosal’s last release Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan was appreciated by fans. The film starred Koel Mallick, Parambrata Chatterjee and Gaurav Chakrabarty.

In Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan, Parambrata Chatterjee and Gaurav Chakraborty plays the role of Bimal and Kumar and Koel Mallick essays the role of a doctor. Bimal and Kumar meet a petrol pump owner Bakashyam Dhar, whose father Radheshyam Dhar was a scientist. Radheshyam was very adventurous and many years back he sited a remote island in the sea of South East Asia, where he discovered a stone, which has a layer of a mythical chemical compound named Red Mercury. Radheshyam's research suggested that this chemical could be a very effective substitute for the gradually exhausting fossil fuel.
