First Bengali web series, Kaali, was a huge success and was well appreciated by the viewers. The makers have decided to come out with the second season of the show.  

Actress Paoli Dam, who had ventured into web series through this show, has started shooting for the second season. She has shared a picture from the set. “Your immense appreciation of the first season made us come up with #Season2 of #Kaali. Elated to start shooting for it. Happy to be back with the kickass team led by the director and creator,” she wrote on her Twitter handle.


The show is produced by Parambrata Chattopadhyay. The first season Kaali delves into the unseen underbelly of Kolkata which is usually spoken about in hushed tones. Filled with hope, courage, danger and betrayal, Kaali is a multi-layered show that will give you jitters as it progresses towards the climax.

Meanwhile, Paoli will be next seen in ‘Password’. The story revolves around the dark side of social networking. The film is produced by Dev’s home production and is expected to release during this Puja. Directed by Kamaleswar Mukherjee, the cast includes Paoli Dam, Rukmini Maitra, Adrit Roy, and Parambrata Chatterjee in the lead role.
