Ritwick Chakraborty and Paoli Dam starrer Shantilal O Projapoti Rohoshyo trailer is receiving good reviews from everyone. The film, directed by Pratim D Gupta, is a detective thriller.
Talking about her role in the film, Paoli Dam said that there are many layers in her character including grey shades. She is essaying the role of a superstar Nandita who has entered into the world of politics.
Paoli further said that her character in the film is very strong and fans will like to see me in this role. The film is slated to release in August. The first song ‘Shomoy’ of the film has been released.
In the film, Ritwick plays Shantilal who is not a professional detective but he is a journalist in a newspaper. He turns out to be a detective when he gets involved in a mystery related to a superstar. Paoli Dam is playing the superstar role.
This is not the the first time that Pritam Da Gupta has made detective thriller. Pratim’s earlier hits Saheb Bibi Golaam and Machher Jhol was also released in August.
Machher Jhol had done well on the box office and received a good response from the audience. It is considered one of the best films of Paoli Dam in her career.
