Sabyasachi Bhowmick’s Teen Kanya Wins Outstanding Achievement Award At Cult Critic Movie Awards
Sabyasachi Bhowmick’s women-oriented film ‘Teen Kanya’ has won an Outstanding Achievement Award jointly in the feature film category at the prestigious Cult Critic Movie Awards. The other film which shares the honour is 'Devaki' directed by Lalit H. 

The director took to his official Facebook page and wrote, “#তিন_কন্যা কাল্ট-ক্রিটিক আন্তর্জাতিক ফিল্ম ফেস্টিভ্যালে জয়ী হলো... সকলের ভালোবাসা ও শুভেচ্ছার মূল্যও স্বীকৃত হোলো একই সঙ্গে... গোটা ছবির সঙ্গে সংশ্লিষ্ট সকলকে অভিনন্দন”



Sayantani Guhathakurta also took to her official Twitter handle and shared the news, “Congratulations to the team "teen konnya " ... specially my director Sabyasachi Bhowmick and our producer Monidipa Mukherjee..”


The movie has three interlinked stories namely ‘Binodini’, ‘Bedsheet’ and ‘Good Morning Revolution’. The three female leads in these three stories are Ritu Parna Sen, Sayantani Guhathakurta and Amrita Chattopadhyay. The film is about rediscovering the inner self in every woman in society.

Sayantani will feature in ‘Bedsheet’ which tries to see the so-called elite class in our society. Guhathakurta who belongs to a middle-class society and what happens when a bedsheet gets stolen. Ishaan Majumder will be seen opposite Sayantani.
