Sanjhbati starring Dev Adhikari, Paoli Dam, Soumitra Chattopadhyay and Lily Chakraborty in the lead role has released. The film is directed by Leena Gangopadhyay and Saibal Banerjee. Filled with songs, laugh, emotions, the film is a visual delight and at the same time, it’s an emotional experience.
Talking to The Times of India, Paoli Dam describes about her role name ‘Phuli’. She says, “Phuli as a girl is very full of spirit, joyful, and always smiling no matter whatever problems she has in her own life. She is not afraid of anything and speaks whatever she feels.”
The film narrates the story of Sulekha, a lonely elderly woman facing difficulties with her loneliness and crankiness. Paoli Dam is her caretaker of Sulekha and her next to door girl look will easily floor her. It will be interesting to see Dev playing normal and simple boy role. Soumitra Chattopadhyay is winning the heart with his performance. Everyone in the trailer assures of mind-blowing performance in the film.
